pull-out-shelves, in London such as This is what some are saying about DIY:Emmer on December 13, 2017 at 12:21 pm Hi Tom Just a quick thank you for putting up this blog. We have just finished the first of two of these cabinets either side of the fireplace!! Hurrah!!! We had received a quote for over 2k (!!!) from a local carpenter and didnt really have the cash so having stumbled across your blog thought we would give it a go as per your instructions. Its a steep learning curve, needs a bit of resourceful thinking and takes time to acheive a really good finish (as working with B&Q wonky wood can be tricky) but its looks really fantastic now its finished and would recommend anyone have a go if they have a bit of spare time and enthusiam. As wood working novices, not sure we would have had the confidence to try this without the excellent pics and instructions. Thanks again!!!Best wishes.(courtesy of http://periodterrace.com/dining-room/alcove-part1/)cabinets either side of the fireplace!! and Essex.
